triangularization code.

heh. I''ve been working about 4.5 hours on this now. I''m trying to write a fast determinant function. The best way is to triangularize my matrix, then multiply the diagonal. Unfortunatly, it is turning out to be a collossal pain to get a decent trianglurization function working. I''m no closer than I was when I started. Does anyone know of a place to get a decent triangularize function, clearly documented? I''m quite fed up by now...

It''s called Gaussian elimination, you should be able to find an algorithm on google or in a book.
