hihi i having been wondering for quite sometime why my fps counter, is like always at 59-60fps. Is it due to the monitor''s refresh rate? I also noticed that some graphics applications have their fps at > 100 and more, so wonder if there is anything i should do to attain this measurement instead. thx! Edwinz

Disable vertical sync of the monitor when measuring framerates.

Change the .PresentationInterval of your D3DPRESENT_PARAMETERS from D3DPRESENT_INTERVAL_DEFAULT to D3DPRESENT_INTERVAL_IMMEDIATE;

Although I don''t see why you''d want to. There''s no reason to run anything over 60 FPS apart from maybe to get an idea of how much processor time you are actually using.
hihi thx fer the 2 replies!
