FPS counter always 59-60fps???
hihi
i having been wondering for quite sometime why my fps counter,
is like always at 59-60fps. Is it due to the monitor''s refresh rate?
I also noticed that some graphics applications have their fps at > 100 and more, so wonder if there is anything i should do to attain this measurement instead.
thx!

Disable vertical sync of the monitor when measuring framerates.

Change the .PresentationInterval of your D3DPRESENT_PARAMETERS from D3DPRESENT_INTERVAL_DEFAULT to D3DPRESENT_INTERVAL_IMMEDIATE;
Although I don''t see why you''d want to. There''s no reason to run anything over 60 FPS apart from maybe to get an idea of how much processor time you are actually using.
