Hey All, I am trying to get started with Managed DirectX and have run into a small problem. I can not get Tutorail5 in the C# D3D Tutorials of the DXSDK 2003 Summer Update to run. I am using VS.NET 2002 and the afore mentioned SDK. I set the references path to: C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Managed DirectX\v9.00.1126 the current version of MDX right? When I run the program I get this error: I found the error is occuring on the TextureLoader.FromFile method. Whats interesting is that if I change the references path to: C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Managed DirectX\v9.00.0900 the previous version of MDX I don''t get the error and everything runs fine. I can only think that VS.NET is compiling and running the source under .NET 1.0 and the current version of MDX is needing .NET 1.1 ???? So am I stuck with the old version of MDX or can I tell VS to use another version of .NET or is this my problem at all? Thanks for the help. Shipwreck

Well, do you have the latest .NET runtime installed? It appears as though you don''t.
