When I export a mesh from Max using the Panda Exporter the materials come out but not correctly. That is an example of what comes out: Material FloorTiles { 1.000000;1.000000;1.000000;1.000000;; 3.200000; 0.000000;0.000000;0.000000;; 0.000000;0.000000;0.000000;; TextureFilename { "FloorTiles.jpg"; } } The texture name is correct but, as you can see, the Diffuse color is always 1.0 for each component. The Power is always 3.2. and the ambient and specular are always 0.0. It dies this for every material. How do I export them properly. For this particular material I had a purple collour for diffuse and ambient was locked to be the same. Thanks

I have not had the problems you describe with diffuse but ambient is not held in the .x file for some reason hence diffuse is always copied into ambient at load time. At least all the SDK samples do this.
