ZFail Shadow Volume Samples

is there any direct3d sample with source that uses Stencil Buffer ZFail shadow volumes. i looked on the net and i found this link, but it doesnt seem to work. http://www.neke.net/neke_forumfiles.html I would like to know what needs to be done to the DX9 Summer 2k3 sample to add ZFail. Thanks in advance. Jay

Don''t use the Microsoft sample...it is cheating a bit and isn''t really implementing shadow volumes correctly.

The neke link given above doesnt seem to have any source code. i was pretty impressed with the alien thing though. and i cannot buy the book in india. somebody help!!!

The ShaderX^2 Introductions and Tutorials has a nice article about shadow volumes by Hun Yen Kwoon. Also, it has a good implementation with z fail. This is really the only good resource I have seen whcih includes an implementation.

I''m in Italy and buyed the book on Amazon.
