Im trying to write a bash script in linux that will allow a computer to obtain a lock on a file on a remote computer. While it has the lock no other computer can access that file. When the computer is finished with the file it releases the lock and any other computer can then obtain the lock. Im fairly new at bash scripting and linux so any help is appreiciated thanks!!!
