AHOY!!! I have one question, how I can make a hair in my 3D Model? Like FinalFantasy 8 and FinalFantasy X? Not the texture, the model... Thanks Alexandre Ribeiro de Sá alex_r@vortexentertainment.com

Most hair for realtime 3D models is created using textures on the base model, though if they hair needs to be off the head (like long hair on a female character), then it''s usually a texture mapped on to a series of subdivided, deformed planes.

Check these links for info on various 3D hair creation techniques:

http://webplaza.pt.lu/public/mbarnig/pages/3Dhair.html
http://www.comet-cartoons.com/toons/3ddocs/hair/
http://www.newtek.com/products/lightwave/tutorials/modeling/hair/

Pulled right from Google''s first page of results; I''m sure there''s many more if you just take a look. And if you''ve ever got future questions, ALWAYS hit Google first - you''ll get a faster answer than on here, and probably a more useful/in-depth one on topics that require figures to really illustrate the issues. I don''t want to discourage anyone from posting here, of course, but always try to find the answer yourself, and when all else fails, RTFM.

I found some hair on Google, but, not good for real-time, can get a GREAT effect for pre-rendered, like movies...

But this tutorial from NewTek is what I need!!! This site is very good!!!

Thanks for the help!!!
