There are two families of functions, CreateDialog*() for modeless dialog boxes and DialogBox*() for modal dialog boxes. The *Indirect() functions load the dialog box from dialog template in memory, whereas the others load it from a resource. The *Param() functions pass an extra parameter to the dialog message handler during the WM_INITDIALOG message, whereas the others pass a default value of 0. Most likely, you''ll want CreateDialogParam() or DialogBoxParam().
