OpenAL Fade

I am trying to do OpenAL sound fading but it doesn''t work. Here''s what I have: velocity[2]=0.1f; void King(){ position[0]+=velocity[0]; position[1]+=velocity[1]; position[2]+=velocity[2]; alSourcefv(source,AL_POSITION,position); } This function gets called hundreds of times a second (this file only has sound) Why doesn''t this work?
