SetStreamSource() memory leak issue

Hi I recently read about the SetStreamSource() memory leak issue with DX8 in an article. I was just wondering about DX9 as the reference to it in the SDK disappeared. I did do a search on this forum and came upon a a 4 page fight over COM objects, reference counts and releases. What is the final verdict? To SetStreamSource(0,0,NULL,0) or not to? Thanx Talib PS this is for DX9 not 8
