Hello all: My program crashed after running for about half hours. The d3d debug outputs are: Direct3D9: (INFO) :Removed texture with timestamp 0,46390 (current = 3912946). Direct3D9: (INFO) :Removed texture with timestamp 0,357962 (current = 3912946). Direct3D9: (INFO) :Removed texture with timestamp 0,450196 (current = 3912946). Direct3D9: (INFO) :Removed texture with timestamp 0,809702 (current = 3912946). Direct3D9: (INFO) :Removed texture with timestamp 0,809704 (current = 3912946). .... (a lot of these messages) Direct3D9: (WARN) :Allocated surface after 6 tries. // and finally an error occured: Direct3D9: (ERROR) :Error during initialization of texture. CreateTexture failed. what does this mean? what may cause this error? Any ideas?

The first INFOs are just that:INFO. D3D is letting you know that it''s swapping MANAGED textures out of video memory. Comparing the old timestamp to the new one, you can see that these textures haven''t been used in some time.

The WARN is warning that it took 6 tries to allocate space in video memory for that texture. Check the INFOs near that statement. Are the old and new timestamps close together? If so you''re probably over-allocating resources.

The final error could be cause by a lot of things, some related to the above issues, others completely unrelated.
