If you lose a file on your computer, and you absolutely need it back, how can you go about bringing it back? Can''t you do that with DOS or something?

- If you just hit delete in windows explorer the file can probably be found in your trash can
- Otherwise it depends on the filesystem, there are some utilities to undelete files (google for it), but chances are that the file is already overwritten. You should turn off that computer immidiatly, the more you use it the higher the chance of overwriting the file.
