ID3DXSprite....auto batching??

OK, I am ignorant when it comes to 3D but I have read a few times that the summer update of ID3DXSprite automatically does batching??? In other words, it batches the sprites until you do a sprite->end?? Is this true or am I crazy? cb

Yes, this is true. If it''s messing something up for some reason, call ID3DXSprite::Flush() after your draw calls.

lol...maybe that is why my batching system gave me the exact same FPS????

lol...jeesh

So, another ignorant question....can it be made faster? And I don''t mean 1-2%.
