matrix problem

in the cg program in have this parameter in the entry function uniform float4x4 ModelViewProj which is the modelview matrix * the projection matrix anyway i was wondering how do i get those matrixs in opengl and multiply them together and also do i still use cgGLSetParameter4fv(); to set the ModelViewProj parameter in opengl or is there another function i have to use?
