how can i do it?
welcome to any sugguestion!
thank you!

You won''t get a chance to execute other applications on the phone from within your MIDlet, if that''s what you''re after. The environment is very much locked down. Your only option for logging (AFAIK) is to write things into the RMS, and you have very limited space there. Plus only your MIDlet (suite) will have access to the data.
Plus - why would you want to do this anyway - for debugging? That''s what the emulators are for (you can actually see System.out/err that way). I know, it sucks but... when you are working in an environment like this (tight program size limitations, no console output) there isn''t really room for niceties like "logging".

If the emulators worked anything like the phones, yes. But in most cases they do not.
Tell me about it But in most cases you simply don''t have any better options. (Though I think I heard of one phone where you can plug something in to see System.out on a peripheral device?)

Sony Ericsson phones can do that. I''ve tried on the T610 and it worked. I think you can even put breakpoints and stuff like that, but I never tried that. It''s definitely a cool feature though.
