Hi, I''m writing a game at the moment, mostly it does just what I want but every now and again, the y co-ordinate of the view part of gluLookAt changes on me, and the view looks like watching from the corner of the ceiling. That was my only problem then I discovered that if I left it a while longer the texture on the floor was changed and showed the instructions!! Are they related and any advice on how to fix it???? As I said it only happens intermittently. Thanks

Memory overflow

You''re writing to a bit of memory you shouldn''t be. That''s my guess. Maybe an array that''s too small, or something?

If you can run that through a debugger or something (i''m a fan of insure in unix for something simple like this), it will tell you where you overrun your array.
