I have a vector and I know how big the first dimension will be, but from then on the sizes of the 2nd dimensions vary. So instead of this sort of arrangement: 1111111 2222222 3333333 4444444 I have: 11 2222 33333333 4444444444444444 etc.... so I declared my vector as (JO is the name of my structure) : vector > j(4); becuase I know that I will have four "rows", so can a vector do this and have mixed sizes for the second dimension? and can it be declared as I declared it? When Penguins are chasing you, resistance is futile, give into their demands and they may spare you

How much deletion will be done on the 2nd dimension? If it is minimal, then I highly recommend a vector of list.
