I''ve wraped my game engine in a dll and its exported out by returning a class that only has virtual functions. But I''m trying to write an editor that fairly GUI intensive is there any way I can use this in visual basic

Hrm. There is no "binary standard" for classes in C++. How one goes about using a class exported from a DLL in VB is dependent on the C++ compiler used; it is also likely to be _very_ messy and _very_ error prone. The _easiest_ ("correct" way to do this, is to export normal ''extern "C"'' functions from your DLL. These functions use your C++ classes, while VB just calls the exported functions.

Alternatively, you can try out COM (probably overkill in this case).

I''m fairly close to the com standard as it is (or at least my I understanding of the standard) I only export the one class cause I wanted it dynamicly loaded and didn''t wanna have to define each function in that crazy function varible syntax but maybe I''ll just write a interbetween dll that exports c functions
