Including Libraries in DevCPP and using Direct Draw

Hello. I just started using Direct Draw today, and I could not get it to work with DevCPP...I have all of the files included properly under the compiler options, but it doesn''t want to work.. it keeps saying: [Linker error] undefined reference to `DirectDrawCreate@12'' Also, do I have to include any files in the directory of my source, and what files do I have to include to make it work and how do I include then(The person that I talked to said that I wasn''t supposed to use #include, so I got confused...) DevC++ uses a different library format than MSVC - libraries are appended with an ''.a'' excension I believe.

I can''t find the latest version of DX for DevC++ though. Try looking through MSDN or something.

Youll need to either download libraries for DevC++ or convert the microsoft libraries to DevC++ format.
