Okay, 1 Other guy named Quadude on the net and me wanted to make a dbz game. First we used the half-life engine but we wanted to make our game stand alone so we started using the quake 2 engine. I saw some tutorials on quakesrc.org on how to make it use 32 bit tga textures but DAMN! Exactly the day when I needed it the site is down. Now I hope some of you can give me a link to a tutorial that shows me how to do this or that someone can give me the code for it Thx already

I have never really looked at the Quake 2 engine, but it can really be more than difficult than just change the textures to 32bit(or 24 bits if no alpha) and change opengl texture loading code.

Try internet archive http://www.archive.org/ it''s site, that makes backup copies from other sites regulary. Just insert your target URL and select the most recent copy of that site from archive.

Hope this helps.
Sorry, It seems the site is up again :D Thx for the help.
