lib,debug and release

my .lib work well only under debug (or release) with which it is built. why? how did other lib (ex. directx) deal with this? [edited by - niexuchina on June 6, 2004 7:34:52 AM]

What do you mean when you say it''s not working well?

The thing you have to understand about release vs. debug is that debug can protect you from memory violations and uninitialized variables, then when you go to release the aforementioned can really screw things up.
