I am coming towards the end of the book Windows Game Programming For Dummies by Andre Lamothe. The book is great and I would highly recommend it. The thing is that the book explains in great detail in explaining all the various parts of ActiveX and GDI etc, which invaluable knowledge. I am now at the stage where I am looking for some resource, be it book or website, that sets me certain projects & goals, followed by their code solution. So for example, "Write a game that does this & that, when you have finished you can look at our solution." I am not being critical of the book, but one thing that would have been helpful is little challenges throughout the book. Can anyone please suggest some resources that they would recommend? Thanks, Red.
