hi i want to profile and run a pipeline simulation to find bad spot''s in a dshow filter (.ax file) for now all i can do is build a manual graph using graphedit9.exe and than start it and use the AMD performance analyser for a normal timer based sampling. The results are kinda strange and i also cant run a pipeline analysis this way. The other problem is that i often use a debug version to change stuff in my inline assembler code (using visual studio 2003/2005) I use the edit & cont . setting to build the app. The problem is that the final /O2 inlined version will prolly have diff. code lines (optimized) than the normal debug version with optimisation turned off. Is there a way to get a edit & cont like mode or the normal cpp code lines in a full /O2 build? So i can profile the final version and not the debug version? thx
