2d collsion problem...kindly help

I noticed you mentioned it bollocks up in slow framerates, perhaps you should consider limiting your time step?

I''ve added logic to almost all of my games that forces the game to a 250ms. time step at maximum (preventing giant time steps, leading to "walking through walls").
