Hello, I can produce useful software, but I cannot make a "GOOD" interface. Is there any tips for doing the following: - Adding Images to menus - Adding Images to buttons - Making buttons XP Style Also, any links to tutorials on making your interface look good will be very useful to me! Can you help? I am using C# with .NET Framework v1.1 Thanks, Rob

http://www.divil.co.uk/net/

has a few interesting tutorials on interface and interface design.

His DotNetMagic library used to have a freebie branch held on sourceforge.net but it is no longer there. There may be free legitimate versions kicking around still.

Otherwise it''s a trip to http://www.dotnetmagic.com/ if you still want to use his stuff.

Also look through http://www.codeproject.com for many tutorials on interface and form design.

What is .NET framework v2.0 like for buttons etc. I think .NET should compile to the correct buttons for the correct operating system. The way I am using is a manifest document but I cannot add images to that. .NET is great but they need to make the controls look more stylish!

Anymore links? I don''t want to pay really!

Cheers,
Rob
