Hi! I''m working on my engine based on the Enginuity tutorials, specifically based on the layout described in part two with the big GIF. I didn''t really follow the code, just the picture, and its the best thing I''ve done so far. Anyways I''m creating a menu client which means I have to define a whole API more or less to display various menu controls (radio buttons, check boxes, progress bars, etc.). I''m using opengl to do all of the rendering. I was wondering if anyone has done this before. I can''t seem to find a good GUI programming website/tutorial (they''re all about using an existing gui, not making a new one). Has anyone here done this before? Specifically, how did you design mouse interaction, clickable areas, having the controls handle mouse clicks, etc. Help would be much apperciated. I''m not completly stuck, but I would like to see some other ways of doing things before I start making stuff up. Thank you in advance.
