Hi, I noticed that some of you guys would like to know about keyframing in relation to 3D model animation. in www.dev-gallery.com there is an online 7 chapters tutorial that starts from zero (opening a simple window using OpenGL) and finishes with a texture mapped, walking (using keyframing) 3D model of a man.

........

Keyframing is *easy*. You use a simple line algorithm on a 3D vector, like so:

result = mesh1 * (1 - pos) + mesh2 * pos

Very simple. And now you use a floating point between 0 and 1 as to how far in between. Voila!

yes, but it becomes more interesting when you have to simulate the movement of a whole body...(And make it look realy cool)
