Anybody out there have any good suggestions about books on learning Visual C++. I don''t know very much about the language so any good books would help me out. I know there are a few books posted at Gamedev, but i just want to get an over all jugdement of the books out. Take me to a place that has 2 feet of snow and ill be happy

My personal preference is The Complete Reference: Visual C++ 6. But that is for VC6. Ill bet there are some for other versions. It has quite a bit of C++ in it, some procedure oriented windows stuff, some MFC and then gets into ATL, DLLs and the like. The windows stuff isn''t very in depth, but the MSDN library complements it excellently.
