Hi there, does anyone know if there is a way to access a file from disk as if it were a memory location under windows. I would imagine this is done by the system for its virtual memory. Cheers.

hi,

I think you mean memory mapped io. That''s a WIN32 feature.
If not you can read the complete file into memory with fread
and then you can use at in memory and when your are finished with it store the contents back with fwrite.
