OpenGL DirectX Vs OpenGL : The Great debate.

I found an interesting article today reguarding OpenGL and more so D3D. It was written by a very well known gams programmer Michael( that is John, thanx for the correction) Carmack(programmer for Doom Quake etc.). Although outdated I found it very interesting. It's good to hear a professional speak out on such topics. (even though much has changed since the time of writing.) Check it out! Edited by - davior on 8/30/00 8:40:17 AM

That''s not really relevant unless you''re using the old directx3 interfaces -- the article is over four years old . The whole API has been restructured since then.
