Status Bar Size?
My program uses a status bar, but i need to know the size of it. (the height that is.) In any case, it says in the MSDN that the height is defined by the font, but how? i cannot find anything in the MSDN to get the height of the status bar.
(I need to have a combo box fill up the rest of the screen but i don''t know where to tell it to stop in the MoveWindow calls)
i.e.
\-------------------------
| Client Area ----
|
|-i need this distance
|
\------------\-------------
Status bar |-or this height
-------------\-------
GetSystemMetrics() won''t do the trick here...hmmm...
If I remember oke, I think it was 20 pixels. But you could use the GetWindowRect() to find out the exact size at run-time.
If you give the statusbar the CCS_NORESIZE style, you can resize it to whatever you like...
