Who can tell me how to write a RPG engine, thank you !!
I am a game programming fan in china
[step 1 of many] learn a programming language (c++ is probably a good choice...
[step 2 of many] make a simple game (a tetris clone for example)
[step 3 of many] after having made several easy games and have enough skills to start making an rpg, decide what you want your game to be like (if your think..."like Final Fantasy VIII...or any game like that made by a big company then reconsider doing something else...like playing games...you can''t make a game like that by yourself as a first real game!!!!!!
to be continued...maybe...maybe not

But i have already made a RPG,I think my event engine is not good.

I have extremely simple ideas, but scared to try anything(downfall of me).
I don''t see how to loop very well (no experience).
