Solving PDE using Fourier Transform

Hello guys.
I'm trying to figure out, how can PDE (partial differential equation) be solved using 
FT or Laplace Transform , but I'm stuck.  

For example, I have something like this: 
/* Ut is əU/ət, Uxx is
---a double U derivative
---according x 
*/ 

PDE: Ut = (a^2)*Uxx   /*actualy, its just a heat equation*/
BC1: U(0,t) = 0      /*boundary condition 1*/
BC2: U(L,t) = 0      /*boundary condition 2*/  
IC:  U(x,0) = g(x)   /*initial value condition*/  

And the goal is to find U(x,t)
/*-----------THANX------------*/

Its nothing personal, but your question seems unrelated to game development and could easily be a schoolwork/homework/college work assignment. There are more appropriate places on the web to obtain assistance with that type of question. Whether your post is legit or not, since its off topic, you at least need to tell us why you're asking the question here and show us your own attempt to solve the problem. The Forum FAQ provides details on the forum policy and also provides links to a few sites that are dedicated to helping with academic problems.

And why do you thing that Partial Differential Equations have
nothing to do with gamedev. Take for example some force that depends on few variables, you'll get PDE. Actualy, I want to build a heat flow simulator(using opengl api).
