What is the best Isometric game engine?? For VB or VC?? Thanks in Advanced, J Stephens

I could be wrong, but I don't think there are very many isometric engines per say. What you want is and engine that does 2D or 3D (depending on what methods you want to use), and use that engine to make an isometric game. If you want to go this route, irrlicht and ogre are two well known engines with good 3d support, and sdl and clanlib are both supposed to be good with 2d sprites. Or you could just simply use opengl or directx without an engine, if you wanted to.
