Cool Gaming Site by Girls

6 posts in this topic

This isn''t really my plug, but I''ve been following the creation of a website by four gamer girls and it''s now premeried, so I thought I would spread the word. They want their site to be funny, friendly, and have kick-ass reviews, so if you''re interested in that sort of thing, check it out! http://www.moxxi.com/editor/editorialmenu.html

Hi folks,

Noticed we were getting a lot of hits from here and I just wanted to take a moment and mention some things.

First off, we aren''t a "grrl" site, nor are we a "girl" site. We are a gaming site that is run by girls. The four of us will be very visible on the site as our whole vision has been to be accessible and approachable to our readers. Communication is one of our main goals and we will reach that through video, email and audio.

Aside from being females, we aren''t writing reviews from a feminist standpoint. We are writing them from a gaming stand point. I think we''ve all heard enough about the problems with gaming in a male dominated industry. So why beat a dead issue?

Moxxi.com will focus on a variety of subjects and have a lot of humorous, insightful and informative articles written by male and female writers.

As of now there are a few areas like the chat room, etc, that aren''t up and running. That will be fixed in a short period of time.

This Monday October 2 we will be unveiling our new look which we are absolutely pumped about. We can''t even look at the site that way it is now. Looks like a circus clown designed it. And yes, if you are wondering, I designed it. I also designed the new look, which I am very happy with.

We''ve been inundated with email requesting that we post more of our videos and pictures. That will start again on Monday when we post some responses to fan mail.

We hope you like what you see on Moxxi.com. If so, drop us a line.
