RGB??

hihi! i am wondering why doesnt D3D support 3 color component 32bit floating texture formats, jus like GL_RGB with NV_FLOAT stuffz??? thx! Edwinz

Interesting... there's a 2 color component 32bit format, and a 4 color component 64bit format, but no 3 color component floating formats. I guess if you want RGB floating, you have to use ARGB instead.

there kind of is isnt there? in the Xtentions, D3DXRGB?

i know thats a kinda play on ARGB but...

He means 32bit components. Like R: 12.6578 G: 134.34234 B: 231.23125. I guess..
