Dude, I wish I had the time and motivation to get that far into a game. But since I don't, you can have what fraction of a unit of motivation I have. *hands BlackMoons a partial unit of motivation, valued at approximately 0.73 MU*

I got ~380 to ~400 fps.
My system:
Athlon64 3000+
ATI Radion 9500 pro
512 ddr400 ram

I liked the random startup music.

The only thing i did not like was the fish eye look.

Cool, yea I don't really like it my self I guess i need to reduce the fov some, just that it looks kinda constrictive with lower fov. :/ is there any way to get a largeish fov without it going all fisheyed?

PS: Come on people, start posting some test results.. e-mailing me... ANYTHING. I know alot of people from THIS thread have seen my site and only 1 person bothered even telling me his FPS or that it even ran? and 2 that it looked good? (PPS, THANK YOU VERY MUCH jmutch, Agony and Prod) you guys can do a little better then that, even if just 'wow, looks cool, ran fine on my pc' or 'damn, crashed on startup with d3d init error' would at least start giving me a guess on how many pc's it runs on and if it has any major bugs.

i get around 66-74 fps running on athlon 2400+ underclocked to 800 or 900 mhz, 512MB ram, nvidia geforce ti4200.

I wanted to ask you: how do you run the server? I mean hardware-wise, did you pay for hosting, host it off your machine or ...?

Ah k thanks everyone a ton for testing it out and giving results.
you'd probley see it jump to like 150 with vsync off.
25fps still isent bad for a cheapo onboard shared memory card.
<edit> PS, im now looking for long term beta testers, Not so much as to sit there and play my game all day, but as in to stay on ICQ and be willing to run test with me of verious aspects. If your intrested please contact me on ICQ, # 16440811

I downloaded it last night.

Played it a bit, but didn't look at the readme. Cause, umm. I wasn't paying attention?
edit: played it with BM... still didn't read the... readme. I'm special.

Tried it again, since I was reading this...

It's a good working model. Controls are a bit anti-intuitive, but nothing a good flight simmer can't manage :D

1. Controls are real, real hard to get to "return to neutral" - ie: return to a navigational "course".
edit: Wow, they have a button for that. Neat.

2. Starfield kinda obscures your models via "staic" effect. Will be fixed in later editions, I'm sure.

3. No joystick support! *sobs* :D

I added you to my ICQ list, and sent you a message. I LOVE space sim,s and I think I've played almost every sim ever created. Heh.

Looking forward to seeing the end result.

And yes, it's cool.
