hi, i created a win32 project and removed stdafx.h & stdafx.cpp; also pre-compiled headers from PROPERTIES/OPTIONS/C/C++ and when i try to compile, it gives lot of errors. Do i need to have stdafx for running a win32 project? what is it for though ? ~ charley

i dont use .NET (i saw that topic in the main page), but in version 6 i see many includes in stdafx.h (one of them is windows.h)
include the header file(s) that you need from stdafx.h and try again.

You can't simply delete them, they are still in the project files, plus some others include them.

Better would be to create a new project, and make it as an empty project.
