Feedback request.

Well, I've been plugging away at this editor for too damn long, but I think I've finally got it stable enough to get some feedback on the general structure. Peep this. (~1.9MB) There are many outstanding issues that I'm aware of. I know :-p. The biggest ones are mentioned in the readme file, but I'm looking for anything else that anyone notices. I've included one test map. Just right click on the bottom curvy arrow, type in "castle", and then left click the same arrow to load it. In case you can't tell, it's rough. Well, ok, I take that back. If cheap toilet paper is rough, this is sandpaper. Requires DX9.0c. It's dynamically linked to the CRT multithreaded libraries, so it won't on systems that don't have those libraries available. This also requires a processor supporting MMX and SSE instructions (should be all Athlons, P3s, and P4s, so no big deal) The shaders that are used in some of the sample materials require ps 2.0 / vs 2.0, but you can simply manually change these files (or not use them) if you don't have a card that supports this and want to see what it's doing. It should run pretty well on a 1Ghz chip with 256MB of ram + a half decent video card (Geforce3 or later). Thanks :)

The original Athlons didn't support SSE afaik. Only from the Athlon XP's did the support arrive.

Just fyi.

I've downloaded it and will try it later - just on my way out to work now though.

Yeah, I just realized (well, ok, last night) that I dynamically linked to the CRT.

I'll upload a statically linked version when I get home...sorry about that.
