Positioning Question
I'm creating a scene which is basically a 3D floorplan of a building and I'm placing the scene in the world space. I'm placing objects inside of the floorplan and I'd like to reference those with respect to the coord system of the floorplan.
Whats the best way for me to convert the positions of the objects from the floorplan coord system to the world coord system for rendering?
Thanks a lot for your time.
Apparently I'm an idiot. My first conclusion was that all I had to do to convert the local coord system to the world coord system was add the two.
Then I thought... thats way to easy. So I started looking at all of this Matrix math crap.
All you have to do is add....

If you implemented a SceneGraph, you could add the objects to the floorplan and the amtrix stuff would be done for you automatically.
