texture coordinates !!!

The correct texture coordinates will be differents depending on which graphics library or application you are using.

Keep in mind that in OpenGL, 0, 0 is in the lower left corner of the texture instead of the upper left.

You assign texture coordinates to a vertex depending on which part of the texture you want to show there. Basically, for each triangle or quad, imagine drawing it on top of your texture so that it covers exactly the area of the texture that you want on it; then, use the coordinates of each vertex on the texture as your texture coordinates.
