Hi Guys, just wondering if it is possible to draw using DirectX onto the desktop or appear to be doing so. In other words is it possible to create a window that is transparent and use DirectX to draw. At the moment whenever I have my DX program running, it draws onto a black screen. I know that when using GDI graphics, I can create my window to have no background brush by doing this: winclass.hbrBackground = NULL; and that works, but with DirectX it does not, its like DirectX puts a black screen there for you. What can I do? Thanks in advance for your help. DarkStar UK
