Are there any good free sound editors for Linux? After a quick Google I found gnusound and ecawave, but neither look very good and can't open a wave file encoded with mp3 compression (as in they have the regular WAVE header but instead of PCM they're MP3). So, any good ones out there?

I like the DARK layout!
