Recently I've been trying to right code thats very hard to get rid of. I've tried Registering a thread to a different process but this leads to bad things usually. So now i'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to do this? I want this thing to be hard as hell to remove from a system. No i'm not writing virii, i'm not out to get anyone. So, reg entries? Coms with DLL to spawn a process? (Message box sorta system). Any ideas? Tons of REG KEY's?

What is it that you're trying to write and what sort of user do you want to protect it from?

Do you want to play nicely or be evil?

You may not by trying to write a virus, but you'll have more luck finding examples of how to accomplish that goal from a VX site. Programs that are hard as hell to remove from a system are the suck.
