point sprites

does ogl 1.5 support point sprites with uv coords for textures? i found: GL_ARB_point_sprite but there isnt much on how to use it, i only found 2 defines: #define GL_POINT_SPRITE_ARB 0x8861 #define GL_COORD_REPLACE_ARB 0x8862 but no functions i need to define?

Beaware though if you have an ATI card, this extension seems to screw up all the other texture coordinates in the scene.

yeah, the problem with the ATI cards is that it turns off perspective correction on the texture mapping apprently, which screaws up textures, the problem is known and apprently will get fixed, but as to when it will accure, well thats anyones guess (Cat4.10 maybe?)
