Hi Does anyone know how to change the windows bit-depth and/or resolution with the Win32 API, well if there even is such a possibility in the Win32 API? I tried to find some hints on how to do this in the documentation, but I think it has like thousands of functions... feels kind of lost with that amount of operations. So if someone has some idea I would appreciate it. Thanks for any possible help.

ChangeDisplaySettings will be your best bet.

Be careful with it though. Don't forget to switch back to normal, noone likes his system settings to be messed with.

Aahhh... thx this is the magic function that I need and also thank you for the warning. It is more likely that I will crash my system sooner or later, but hey it won't be my first time :).
