Help with RegisterServiceCtrlHandlerEx

I need help with RegisterServiceCtrlHandlerEx function. I keep getting a undeclared identifer error. here is the relevent code. #define WIN32_LEAN_AND_MEAN #include <windows.h> #include <malloc.h> SERVICE_STATUS_HANDLE WINAPI RegisterServiceHandler() { return RegisterServiceCtrlHandlerEx(serv_name,ServiceHandler,NULL); } The #define WIN32_LEAN_AND_MEAN has no effect.

C) What return value do you get from RegisterServiceCtrlHandlerEx?

If its ERROR_INVALID_NAME or ERROR_SERVICE_DOES_NOT_EXIST that would give you a pretty good idea as to why its not working.
