I have several textures in my tiled terrain. I have to blend two textures where two different texs meet. How to do that if my texs don't have alphas? I have to create to every tile a blank texture with specified alpha ? And using this texture to blending ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could create an alpha texture map, I think that is the way Charles Bloom recommended for splatting (not saying you are doing splatting, just commenting). Either that, or you can try using the alpha of the vertices to blend the two textures together, however I'm not sure how well that would work.

I suspect setting the alpha at vertices works quite well, I think quite a few things use it - Tuxracer for example from the map files looks like it does. I think Quake 3's terrain code does too.
