Dear All Have u guys encountered the problem with Font.DrawText(). I've just installed the latest release of SDK Summer 2004. I did the coding with DirectX9b and all the codings are fine until I changed to DirectX9c. It gaves me a problem with my text drawing sub routine. I actually checked the sample coding included in the SDK Summer 2003 and it looked the same. I dunno what's happening here and here is the Error message that the compiler give me: { Overload resolution failed because no accessible 'DrawText' is most specific for these arguments: 'Public Function DrawText( sprite As Microsoft.DirectX.Direct3D.Sprite, text As String, rect As System.Drawing.Rectangle, format As Microsoft.DirectX.Direct3D.DrawTextFormat, color As System.Drawing.Color) As Integer': Not most specific. 'Public Function DrawText( sprite As Microsoft.DirectX.Direct3D.Sprite, text As String, ByRef rect As System.Drawing.Rectangle, format As Microsoft.DirectX.Direct3D.DrawTextFormat, color As System.Drawing.Color) As Integer': Not most specific. } I'm using Visual Studio.NET 2003, Visual Basic.NET, and DirectX9 SDK Summer 2004. Any of your help is very much appreciated. Regards iMuYa
