Hello! I have a huge program and I want to place some of the functions in a header file im new to C++ so im not sure how to do that? Whats the deal with having .h files and .cpp what goes in what? Man C++ confuses me! lol Thanx ppl for the help!!!

the specifics of how to get it to actually compile depend entirely on what tool you are using to compile your programs. make, VC++(6.0 or .NET or whatever), DEVC++, etc; all have different ways to actually let the program know how to compile everything.

but the article should give you at least the basics of how to write the files. getting them to build can be your next question, after you've written the files :)
